Design of a test rig for hydraulic damper based on power saving

tIn the paper, a test rig for 1 000kN hydraulic damper was developed. The rig is consisted of three parts: hydraulic power source, main machine and control system. The rated pressure of the power pack is 25MPa and the maximum flow is over 1700 L/min. In the development of the test rig, two factors were considered, one was that the test rig met the test requirements of hydraulic damper, the other was that power saving was fully considered. In the view point of power saving, the following measures were taken: 1) the power pack was consisted of pump station and accumulator group, which provided the transient maximum flow together. 2) Two servo valves were employed, one was for dynamic test and the other for static test.
