A STUDY ON THE CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF EASY WORK INFORMATION TO MEMORIZE
The cellular manufacturing system replaces the line production system to be suitable for high-mix low volume production and has been introduced in a lot of final assembly factories. We investigated the work ers training with the copier assembly factory that introduces the cellular manufacturing. As a result, the period of memorizing work information was different depending on the worker. Moreover, the ease of memorization of work information was different depending on the work content. Thus, there is the work content that workers can memorize fast and cannot. The purpose of this study is to clarify methods to faster memorize the work contents that found to be not easily memorized, or that varied in ease of memorization depending on the subject. In the experiment, 10 subjects assembled Lego Blocks to follow the work infor mation on a computer display. The Lego Block assembly task could classify the work content just like ac tual assembly work. The following results were obtained. ( 1 ) The near part should be attached continu ously in parallel work. ( 2 ) The unit part should be showed to workers by a unit in initial unit part main as sembly work. ( 3 ) The first part should come in contact with the main body directly in first work in sub as sembly work. In the proposed method, the number of production until work information is remembered has decreased by 25 % compared with the preseht method.
