THIRD-PARTY LOGISTICS SERVICE PROVIDER SELECTION BASED ON FUZZY ENTROPY AND TOPSIS
Third-party logistics (3PL) service provider selection is one of the most critical activities of logistics out sourcing in a supply chain. The information age and globalization are forcing companies to place a premium up on collaboration as a new source of competitive advantage, so companies are facing significant challenges to e valuate and select appropriate third-party logistics providers. This paper will choose a set of indicators, con struct a framework for performance measures and introduce an evaluation method which proceeds as follow: de termining the indicator weight applying fuzzy entropy;ranking the 3PL providers with the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS). Finally, several suggestion and future research are discussed.
