ANALYSIS OF MOVEMENT OF TOOL AND EYE-GAZE BEFORE AND DURING SKILLED TASK
In this research, a system to measure simultaneously the movement of the tool and eye-gaze position was developed. The movements of the tool and eye-gaze position of skilled and unskilled subjects were measured. Eye-gaze for position before and during skilled task was analyzed. This system is consists of a device which measures the location of the tool and an eye-gaze measurement sys tem. Since both devices differ in coordinate system, the coordinate system should be unified. Penmanship was selected as skilled movement. It became clear that the skilled subject is distributing the eye-gaze over the wider area of paper. Moreover, the skilled subject tended to look around the onset of the next drawing part in advance.
