GRA MODEL FOR MULTIPLE ATTRIBUTE DECISION MAKING IN FUZZY SETTINGS

The aim of this paper is to extend the grey relational analysis (GRA) to the multiple attribute decision making problems in which the information about attribute weights is incompletely known, and the attribute val ues take the form of triangular fuzzy numbers. We establish an optimization model based on the maximizing de viation method, by which the attribute weights can be determined. Then, according to the concept of the GRA, a fuzzy relative relational degree is defined to determine the ranking order of all alternatives by calculat ing the degree of fuzzy grey relational coefficient to both the fuzzy positive-ideal solution (FPIS) and fuzzy neg ative-ideal solution (FNIS) simultaneously. Finally, an example is given to show the feasibility and effective ness of the proposed method.
