THE COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TWO GRAPH METHODS ON THE HYDRAULIC CALCULATION OF WATER SUPPLY NETWORKS
Two graph theory models of hydraulic analysis of water pipe network are given, which are node continuity equations established by incidence matrix and cut set matrix respectively. By analyzing the difference between the structure and the matrix construction process of the two models, the research shows that the model construc ted by incidence matrix are more concise than cut set matrix. Then, this paper applies the two models to an ac tual example, compares the results of the two methods with the measured values. The comparison shows that the results of incidence matrix are more accurate and more practical.
