A STUDY ON VIRTUAL WORKSPACE FOR TRAINING OF SCULPTURE SKILL

This paper deals with a proposed virtual workspace for the training of the sculpture skill. Firstly, we measure the graver position with three wires that are installed in the point and the rear end of the graver respec tively. Secondly, we measure the holding power of the graver using pressure sensors. Thirdly, we measure the position of the sculpture material during sculpture work as an example of the traditional sculpture. Lastly, We construct virtual workspace that can display those measurement results for the training of the sculpture skill.
