ON THE EFFECT OF STRATEGIC IT APPLICATIONS IN RETAIL INDUSTRY: EMPIRICAL ANALYSES OF IT UTILIZATION LEVEL AND PRODUCTIVITY

摘要：

It becomes clear in the past research that Information Technology (IT) contributes ,to economic growth. The applications of IT positively influence the economy and corporate managements. Therefore, the importance of IT is increasing in economic activities and company activities. This paper discusses the future directivity with the applications of IT from the point of the degree of utilizations with IT, and also reports the result of em pirical analyses for the relationships between IT utilization level and the firms productivity. As a conclusion, the change in the management figures was confirmed by IT utilization level. Even if it is the IT equipment and the organization of same condition, the management figures varies with IT utilization level.
