Selection and Breeding of Guinuo (Litchi chinensis Sonn.)-a New Cuitivar of Big Fruit Size

摘要：

Guinuo (Litchi chinensis Sonn.),a new litehi cultivar selected from offspring plants of mutated individual seedlings in Guangxi,was examined and approved by Crop Variety Authorization Committee of Goangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in May of 2007.The cultivar was characterized with its big fruit size,excellent eating quality and high yield.Its pulp was low in juicy and crisp.The average weight of fruit,edible portion and content of soluble solid were 37.02 g,73.36％ and 18.55％ respectively.
