Control Effects on Litchi Downy Blight Disease by Endophytic Bacterial Strain TB2 and its Pathogenesis-Related Proteins
This study demonstrated that an endophytic bacterial strain TB2 (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens) had a good control effect on litchi downy blight disease (Peronophthora litchii).The control effect was 67.07％ in 6 d after inoculation with strain TB2.The control mechanism could be that the endophytic bacterial increased the activities of β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase,175.00 and 220.04％,higher than that of control in the 6 d after inoculation with the strain TB2,and also increased the contents of glutathione (GSH) and ascorbic acid (ASA),10.66 and 86.65％ separate. However,the activities of peroxidase (POD) and polyphenol oxidase (PPO) (37.57 and 23.97％) were still lower.
