Research on the Match of Core competence and Customer value

As for the corporation to obtain the competitive advantages, core competence is the necessary condition rather than the sufficient one. The match of core competence and customer value is the precondition of realizing core competence. In this paper, presumably both of core competence value and customer value have lengths and directions. They can be defined as value vectors in the value space which consists of economic value, functional value and mental value. Calculating the match coefficient between two value vectors helps us to quantitatively analyze their match, to find out the two basic ways to improve the match of core competence and customer value, to increase the length of the module of core competence value vector and decrease the difference between the lengths of the modules of core competence value vector and customer value vector, to decrease the included angle between core competence value vector and customer value vector and make them have the similar direction.
