A Theoretical Framework from the Brazilian Mobile Phone Sector
The mobile phone sector has been through a technological innovation process. These innovations affect the strategies of this sector and establish high competition between them. Thus, the present work aims to identify a theoretical framework from the Brazilian mobile phone sector, taking into account the technological options (GSM or CDMA) of the two biggest Brazilian mobile phone companies. For this, the research started from theoretical references, beginning right after a research with fourteen (14) experts of this sector; and considering the content of this interviews (using the content analysis technique, 27 initials categories had emerged), it has been added others theoretical references to build up what is called theoretic framework (having as theoretical axes the Technological Innovations, Competitive Strategy and Stakeholders Theory) of the main strategic categories of Brazilian mobile phone sector.
