The Study of Chinas University Evaluation Based on the Total Knowledge Ability
With the arrival of knowledge economy age, a university, being a knowledge-intensive social organ, is supposed to take the lead in implementing knowledge management. On the basis of Maxs theory of social reproduction, this paper provides the idea of the holographic structure of human knowledge activity system in order to combine university knowledge activity with fundamental university functions. Through the evaluation to the domestic and overseas universities and the study and analysis of their ranking, its to set up the evaluation index system targeting the universitys fundamental social functions. With the knowledge management as the evaluation approach, its to build up a comprehensive university evaluation system based on the total knowledge ability in the end and try to offer some novel methods for the university evaluation.
