A Research on the Patent Pools in Chinese Industries
Based on the theoretical analysis of the IPR exchange and the empirical study of the Chinese industries, the paper analyzes the characteristics of the patent pools in the Chinese industries. The author analyzes such mechanisms, within which the patent pool promote the industry development and predicts that Chinese industry clusters may generate various types of patent pools under the market-driven condition. Finally, the author attempts to propose some suggestions on how to enhance the development of patent pools in Chinese industries.
