MIN-MAX Principle for Parameter Optimization of Papermaking Process DMC Control System
According to basis weight and moisture content characteristics of nonlinearity, time-variance, coupling, time-delay, uncertainty and information inadequacy in papermaking process, a new predictive controller based on dynamic matrix control(DMC) algorithm is proposed to be employed in the basis weight and moisture content control system, which depends little upon process control model but with adaptive function and strong robustness, and the DMC parameters are optimized based on MIN-MAX principle which can achieve better performance indexes even with changes of real process model parameters and operating conditions. The method greatly improves the robustness of basis weight and moisture content control system.
