A Model for University Teaching Teacher’s Competence Evaluation Based on Information Entropy and Unascertained Measure
Considering the complexity of university teaching teacher’s competence and some shortcomings of the current evaluation methods this paper designs an evaluation index system which includes three Abilities: professional quality, personality maturity, and driving capability, and set up a new model for university teaching teacher’s competence evaluation based on information entropy and unascertained measure. At last, a case study is provided to verify the model. The research findings offer a workable approach in evaluating university teaching teacher’s competence. It can serve as a basis in the selection, assessment and cultivation of university teaching teachers in China.
