On the Pedagogical Connections of Vocational Higher Education Programs Updated from Professional Training Schools to Regular Colleges
To develop Vocational Higher Education Programs Updated from Professional Training Schools to Regular College (VHEPUTSRC) is not only the need of economy development, but also the need of being adapted to the trend of Chinese education development, and building a perfect system of vocational education. Setting out from the current situation of VHEPUTSRC, this paper evolves its study around the kernel argument to pedagogical connection of VHEPUTSRC. Firstly, this paper discusses the cultivation objective of VHEPUTSRC, and establishes the orientation and cultivation objective of VHEPUTSRC by comparing the aim of vocational higher education with that of applied undergraduate education. Secondly, from the aspects of course setting and teaching mode, an analysis is made about the pedagogical connection of VHEPUTSRC to provide the principle, method and mode. Thirdly, this paper puts forward basic strategy to solve the problem from the aspect of building a perfect system of vocational education. This research project aims at seeking theoretical foundation and practical methods to promote the teaching quality of VHEPUTSRC, and bringing forward the scientific advices for it. In the process of the study, many study methods have been applied, including investigation, document analysis, comparative study, case study, systematical study and so on. In the end, this paper constructs domineeringly the theory of pedagogical connection of VHEPUTSRC and puts forward corresponding proposals.
