The Study on the Development of Art and Design Discipline in the Newly-promoted Undergraduate Universities Based on Niche Theory
As the advancement of the society and the increase of the quality of national life, art and design talent demand has begun to show an upward trend. The number of the new undergraduate colleges in art and design also increases rapidly. However, the quality of their education and professional construction level varies greatly. To solve these problems, considering the present situation of the undergraduate art and design colleges, niche theory from ecology, analysis of professional construction and development problems, we will provide the corresponding recommendations and strategies of the discipline development to achieve the sustainable and rapid development of art and design discipline in the newly promoted undergraduate universities.
