How to Enhance the Subject Development of Urban Construction Institutes
Since 1999, the colleges of China including Urban Construction Institutes began to enlarge the enrollment. Accordingly, some vocational schools were promoted into colleges, three-year colleges into four-year institutes and institutes into universities. With the transformation of the high education covering from elites to common persons, urban construction institutes as applied ones with exclusive characteristics and service of the development of local economy and urban construction, are getting more concerns from the aspects of running mode, education qualities, subject set-up, lab and teaching management.
