Curriculum Development and the Construction of Course Group
In the 21st century, the focus of development in higher education has been shifted from the pattern of denotation to the pattern of connotation. Meanwhile, the curriculum reform has been aimed at the construction of the course group instead of only a single course as done before. This paper offers some thoughts on the construction of course group in the light of the connotative meaning of course group with profound analyses of the necessity and importance of the construction of the course group. Furthermore, this paper provides some concrete clues, methods and achievements in the course development and the course group construction by citing applied mathematics as an example.
