Some Discussions on Teaching Approach to Machining Accuracy in Machine Manufacturing Technology
Product quality is always a matter of prime importance in manufacturing. It should be given the highest priority in Machine Manufacturing Technology. How to catch better machining accuracy is crucial to guarantee product quality. A new teaching approach to machining accuracy is discussed to make the students understood easily. First, an error chain based teaching method is proposed. The machining error is a closing linkage whereas all errors of the machining complex are the component linkage. Subsequently, basic teaching contents on machining accuracy are readjusted according to the sequence of component linkages. Only in doing so, can the students make to get twice the result with half the effort in the grasp of machining accuracy.
