On the Relationship Between University Libraries and Information Literacy Education on College Students
Started with the concept of information literacy, on the basis of investigation and research, the current situation of college students information literacy is analyzed in the article. In view of social development, innovative consciousness and lifelong study, the necessity of the information literacy education on college students is illustrated. In the aspect of utilizing libraries to improve college students i nformation literacy education, suggestions are put forward on how to strengthen the curriculum construction of Literature Retrieval course and how to enhance the automation construction; meanwhile, the development of book collection structure and the assistant effects of improving the quality of library staff on college information literacy education are elaborated. In the end, it is expounded that the innovation of information literacy education can be implemented through legislation support, professional education and the management system formulated by Information Literacy Education Management Committee.
