Exploring the Relationship Between English Achievement and Interest for Non-English Majors
This paper aims at examining the effect of interest on English test scores. The subjects for survey are 62 non-English major undergraduate students. By making investigations and experiments, the results are obtained as follows: 1) the scores of students are significantly correlated with interest;2) The students interest in English arouses their Integrative motivation and helps them to be more active in English learning;3) Students interest in English can be provoked by teachers through different means.
