Research of Team-based Talent Training Model in the Graduation Project Design of Civil Engineering Specialty

To enhance the quality of the graduation project design and to nurture the integrative ability of students of the civil engineering major, the paper advocates and probes into the team-based talent-training model based on the analysis of the current problems. The paper unfolds its elaboration from such aspects as building the instructor-led training team, selecting project topic, setting up student-led team, carrying out project surveys, working out overall planning, and working in cooperation with a due division of labor. As a result, valuable discussions are made in the paper regarding the formulation of the team-based talenttraining model in the graduation project design of the civil engineering specialty based on whole-process supervision, the establishment of an appraisal system based on whole-process supervision, and the reinforcement of faculty construction for the teambased talent-training model in the graduation project design. The engineering design capability and overall quality of students in the civil engineering specialty have been substantially enhanced by this model. Besides, the overall quality of graduation projects has also witnessed obvious improvement.
