Thoughts of Engineering Colleges Cultivation of Innovative Talents
It is a major practical problem for engineering colleges to cultivate innovative talents for our country. In terms of personnel training thought, engineering colleges must actively update educational concepts, focus on personality development of students, strengthen innovation practice, and create a favorable atmosphere and the environment for the growth of creative talents. On this basis, they should guide exploration in key areas including building a reasonable course system, deepening the teaching system reform, increasing the use of social resources, strengthening the introduction of innovation during teaching, to further establish and improve the innovative personnel training system with Chinese characteristics and to cultivate innovative talents adapting to the needs of the 21 st century.
