A Method of Continuous Wavelet Transform for QRS Wave Detection in ECG Signal
Reliable detection of QRS is not only the important basis for diagnosis of arrhythmia, but also the further analysis of other detail ECG information can be defined through the detected QRS wave. According to the relationship of singular point, Lipschitz exponent and wavelet transform maximum modulus, a method called zero-crossings is introduced to detect QRS complex waves. With properly selected mother wavelet, 99.40% accuracy of QRS complex detection is reached, the proposed method has been tested with MIT-BIH arrhythmia database. Experiment results show that it can deal with the QRS complex with arbitrary number of waves.
