A New Approach to Absolute Stability for Lure Systems with Time-Varying Delay
This paper presents a new approach to the problem of absolute stability analysis of Lurs systems subject to time-varying delay. A more general LyapunovKrasovskii functional is constructed to obtain some delay-dependent stability criteria by combining the free-weighting matrix technique. Since these criteria utilize more information on the state variables and no useful item is ignored throughout the estimate of upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional, the developed conditions show less conservatism. An numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our proposed method.
