Finite Element based Dimension Deformation Predication and Anti-deformation Compensation Model for composite part
Deformational control is a critical problem for composite structures, especially for complex geometry composites. This paper presents a new antideformation compensation method to decrease the deformation for the polymer matrix fiber reinforced composite parts. The new method uses a mathematical model way, and includes a dimension predication model and an antideformation compensation model. The dimension predication model is developed to calculate the residual stresses of the composite part during the curing process, and aims to get the deformation of the composite part after demould. The anti deformation compensation model uses the predicated deformation as input to calculate the reverse deformation, and provides the basis for redesigning the composite part surface to reduce the ultimate deformation.
