LQR Control Speed and Voltage of Synchronous Alternator
In electrical network, control of output voltage and frequency are vital issue, in this article, it introduces the modeling and simulation of synchronous alternator in MATLAB and the linearization of it. The model of system is decomposed into electrical part and mechanical part according to the requirement of Linear Quadratic Regulator. The whole system is simulated using S-function. In the end, using Linear Quadratic Regulator realize the control of synchronous alternator in terms of voltage and speed(frequency) to satisfy the excepted performance of synchronous alternator.
