Research of Variable Structure Inverse System Method for Turbo-generator Valve Control

Inverse system method used to control the valve of turbo-generator is introduced in this paper. The nonlinear model of the single machine-infinite bus system was transformed to the corresponding pseudo-linear system, and a variable structure controller was designed to the pseudo-linear system. A saturation function was used to eliminate the chatter of variable structure controller. The simulation shows that the stability of system was effectively improved under the regulating of this control. Controller designed in this paper can effectively suppress vibration, rapid recovery system to run simultaneously under the three-phase short circuit. The dynamic response and transient stability level of power system were effectively improved.
