Wavelet Analysis of Track Profile Irregularity for Beijing-Tianjin lntercity High Speed Railway on Bridge
The specimen used by this paper is collected by track geometry inspection car from B(o)gl slab ballastless track of Beijing-Tianjin intercity high speed railway, and wavelet transform is used to analyze the track profile irregularity of railway on bridge. The different periodic components, locations and reasons in track irregularity can be identified accurately by using wavelet transform and power spectrum density (PSD) analysis. The results show that the main wavelengths of track profile irregularity of BeijingTianjin intercity high speed railway on bridge include 70~ 100 m, 50 m, 31~33 m, 11~13 m, 6~7 m, 3 m and 1.6 m. The reasons of track profile irregularity include track adjustment error, bridge creep, slab installation error, rail manufacturing error, and welded joint error and so on. The wavelet analysis results can be used to appraise railway track construction quality accurately and to guide railway track maintenance.
