Adaptive fuzzy decentralized dynamic surface control for interconnected time-delay systems

In this paper, adaptive fuzzy decentralized control for a class of uncertain large-scale time-delay nonlinear systenms is presented. By employing fuzzy approximators and the technique of delay replacement, the decentralized dynamic surface control (DSC) design approach can be carried out with both unknown delay signals and interconnections. Furthermore, the designed fuzzy decentralized controller is memoryless. It is proved that the proposed design method is able to guarantee semiglobal uniform ultimate boundedness (SGUUB) of all signals in the closed-loop system, with arbitrary small tracking error by appropriately choosing design constants.
