Concept Design and Experiment Study of Self-sensing Actuator Based on Magnetically Controlled Shape Memory Alloy

In this paper, a self-sensing actuator (SSA) used positive characteristic and inverse characteristic of magnetically controlled shape memory alloy (MSMA) is designed. A control model of SSA based on MSMA is established, which reflects the relationships of sensor parameters, control parameters and shape changes of MSMA. While the model provides a theoretical basis for applying SSA. In addition, the control system of SSA based on MSMA is designed. The key technical problems of SSA signal processing based on MSMA are explored. Lenz effect is eliminated during the process of work. Better experimental results are achieved in the active vibration controL Research and application for SSA have some reference value.
