Numerical Simulation of Reverberant Acoustic Field Environment Test Based on Reciprocity Theorem
The aim of this paper is to present the formulation and application of the coupled structural finite element and acoustic boundary element algorithm to analysis the structure subjected to noise-induced vibration from acoustic loads experienced during launch environment. Firstly, the traditional numerical simulation of a reverberant field as a launch acoustic environment was introduced. Secondly, based on the reciprocity theorem used in coupled FE-BE model, as well as the principle of stochastic analysis, the output response power spectrum density of the coupling model subjected to reverberant environment can be calculate by the mathematical formulation deduced. In order to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method, the simulation results based on the reciprocity theorem were compared with the solutions obtained using the traditional method. Good agreement results show that using the reciprocity theorem to analyze reverberant acoustic field environment is feasible and effective.
