Tourism Resource Development and Antipoverty in the Poverty-stricken Area Around Beijing and Tianjin

摘要：

The poverty-stricken area around Beijing and Tianjin is a depressed area with advantages and disadvantages in tourism resource in East China. The tourism resource in this area is abundant and the types are various. But the scattered distribution of scenic spots, the backward infrastructure and the poor communication are the important factors blocking the development of tourism resource in such area. Based on the analysis of condition and characters of tourism resource in the poverty-stricken area around Beijing and Tianjin, several suggestions on tourism resource development are proposed to promote local economic development and alleviate poverty, such as strengthening regional cooperation, expanding market by intensifying publicity, making more investment in infrastructure construction, exerting great efforts in developing eco-tourism and Red Tourism.
