This paper presents the modeling of a hydraulic proportional circuit and sets up the discrete statespace model. Aiming at the nonlinear model, the extended Kalman filter (EKF) algorithm is introduce here. The application of EKF towards the state estimation of the discrete state-space model is present in the last.
