The Effects of Globalized Authenticity on Souvenir

It is common to find a denoted local souvenir, labeling with abroad manufacturer. A conceptual framework is advanced for exploring the impact of globalizcd authenticity on souvenir purchasing. This study suggests that varied level of authenticity is decided by modes of tourist with different kind of souvenir. As purchasing cultural souvenir, pleasure-seeking tourist will adopt globalized authenticity toward commercial souvenir. But serious tourist will buy cultural souvenir with objective authenticity.
