An SOA-based Wiki System Model for Enterprise Training
With the advent of Web 2.0 era, traditional enterprise training approaches do not work effectively anymore. Wiki, one of the most popular Web 2.0 applications, has been increasingly adopted in enterprise training due to its features of openness, sharing and high collaboration. However, current wiki systems still cant fully meet the requirements of enterprise training. In this paper,we first present the main functions and implementation mechanism of wiki systems and analyze the advantages of wikis application in enterprise training. Then, we introduce the concepts of SOA and its implementing technology-Web Services. Combining the strengths of wiki and SOA, we propose an SOA-based wild system model for enterprise training which demonstrates its simplicity, controllability and good scalability.
