The Research on the Establishment of Chinas Catastrophe Insurance Based on the Perspective of Prisoners Dilemma

Prisoners dilemma is one of classic example in the game theory, which is applied to all aspects of society. This paper analyses the game between the insurance companies and residents in the course of the establishment of Chinas catastrophe insurance system from the respective of prisoners dilemma, and obtain that the only way to walk away from the Prisoners dilemma is to establish the catastrophe insurance system under the auspices of the government;Then the paper analyses some other factors which demand to establish a catastrophe insurance system under the auspices of government;at last the paper points out the practical approach to establish the catastrophe insurance under the auspices of government.
