Performance Analysis of a Selective Burst Discarding Scheme for Deflection Routing in OBS Networks

摘要：

We propose a selective burst discarding scheme for deflection routing in OBS networks. The discarding scheme is based on the priority of deflected and undeflected bursts and the number of elapsed and remaining hops. The proposed scheme controls superfluous deflection in order to use the network resource efficiently.
