Tissue Contrast Imaging by Polarization Sensitive Optical Coherence Tomography
A tissue discriminating tomographic imaging by polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT) is reported. The PS-OCT provides a standard OCT and polarization sensitive phase retardation OCT. These images are processed by newly developed algorithm which classifies each pixel in the OCT image to tissue types based on the optical properties of the pixels. This method successfully classify the tissues in an anterior eye segment.
