A Microwave Photonic Interference Mitigation Filter Based on Semiconductor Optical Amplifier
A microwave photonic interference mitigation filter is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The structure is based on a recirculating delay line comprising a semiconductor optical amplifier used to generate negative tap. A bandpass response with negative coefficients and a broadband allpass response are combined to achieve notch response with flat passband.
