Influence of Nanoparticles Concentration on Fluorescence Quenching in Gold/Rhodamine 6G Nanoassemblies
Fluorescence enhancement of dye solution doped with gold nanoparticles is a wellknown effect. However, depending on size and concentration, nanoparticles can also deteriorate dye lasing properties due to increased quenching of the excited molecules. Here we report experimental results on such dependence of fluorescence degradation on the nanoparticle concentration.
