An Experiment of PMD Compensation Based on DSP in 25-Gb/s CSRZ-DQPSK System
We reports an experiment of endless PMD compensation in 25-Gb/s NRZ-DQPSK system using a DSP based PMD compensator. The control algorithm used is a modified particle Swarm Optimization. The PMD compensator can track the average SOP variation of 65 rad/s without any lost of optimum tracking.
