All Optical Clock Recovery for 40Gbs using an Amplified Feedback DFB Laser

A monolithic integrated three-section amplified feedback semiconductor laser (AFL) is demonstrated as an all optical clock regenerator. All optical clock recovery for 40Gb/s is demonstrated experimentally using AFL.
