Analysis of Public Building Construction Phase Fire Accidents Based on Fault Tree Analysis Method

There are numerous uncertain factors which are fire hazards at the public building construction sites, so it has high risk to get fires at this phase. The fire risks and consequences of construction phase are great, even more serious than completed buildings. The fire sources identification, fire safety assessment and fire safety management can positively and effectively reduce fire risk during construction, which can ensure the success of projects. This paper introduces the current situation and characteristics of Chinese public building fire accidents during construction phrase and analyses the common fire sources, furthermore, draws and analyses the fire accidents fault tree in order to obtain the importance degree rank based on the structure importance degree and the fuzzy degree of each basic event. The author uses various methods such as consulting experts, observing construction sites and researching relevant construction files to establish fault tree.Focus on the fire sources, this paper offers suggestion that construction phase fire safety should have system management based on technique and organization measures.
