Organizational Interface Management of Construction Projects under Asymmetric Information

With the rapid development of knowledge economy, the specialized departments of construction project is divided thinning, a construction project just need a large number of project participants who work together. Construction project involves lots of participants, so, the phenomenon of information asymmetry, between two participants probably occurs. Taking owner and construction contractor as an example, this paper analyses the phenomenon of information asymmetry., and argues that the research on organizational interface under asymmetric information is feasible. From the organizational perspective, it finally provides several effective solutions, including: designing a reasonable contract; the application of a new procurement route; establishing a interface management information system;designing interfaces of functional departments of organizations correctly. As the interface management theory, is still not perfect, this paper preliminarily explores the phenomenon of asymmetric information between different organizations. Policies and regulations, organizational culture and organizational system design also have an important impact on information asymmetry, which need further study.
