Research on AGC control strategy based on improved Control Performance Standard

摘要：

Presented in this paper are the design and simulation results of AGC control strategy based on the improved Control Performance Standard. As a new concept, the Frequency Band is presented and used to recalculate the improved CPS standard. The objectives of this improved CPS standard are to reduce wear and tear of generating unit’s equipments and to minimize the amount of regulation and debase regulating burden. This improved CPS standard oriented AGC control strategy is designed to implement such objectives and to assure that control area’s control performance is in compliance with the improved Control Performance Standard. A simulation model is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodologies.
