Cross-Cultural Management of Chinese Transnationai Company Based on Attribution Theory: A Case Study

Based on three ingredients attributed pattern of attribution theory, pattems of cross-cultural behavior of the Chinese employees in N company was described and analyzed, typical questions existing in the Chinese transnational enterprise were summarized, which concluded self-centered management system, race superiority complex, attitude towards language learning, level of work effort about local employees, differences in values, cross-cultural conflicts caused by accident, and so on. The solutions were given: reset the companys nature and strategic positioning choose the appropriate cross-cultural management strategies; and the company should emphasis on local integration, deepen understanding of cross-cultural management and carry on the necessary cross-cultural training.
