Do Stock Options Awards to Managers in Chinese Enterprises Effectively?
Executive incentives have attracted a large of interest in recent years around the world. Especially, the incentive mechanism adopted in Chinese stated-own enterprises has generated a lot of controversy. This paper starts off with describing the current trend in executive stock options and reviewing contemporary research on executive stock options incentives. The paper provides several issues that need be emphasized on executive incentives in Chinese enterprises. We need pay more attentions on the economics cost from non-tradable shareholder, amending the proviso of Company laws and Securities regulations to comply with granting practice in future researches.
